I live on a farm in Albia with my husband and three kids. I started making cards fall 2019. I quickly fell in love with card making. Cards are a great way to send a smile. There are lots of reasons to send a card - birthday, anniversary, love you, congratulations, friendship, just because, graduation, get well, miss you, sympathy, wedding, baby, new home, Valentine's Day, Christmas - oh, the list is endless! Card making is my happy place!
I have also become interested in making stickers, another fun element to add to your cards when you send them.
When I lived in Arizona, I found a wonderful “Lapidary & Jewelry Shop”. A “new-found friend” encouraged me to try a silver-smith class and then a beading class. I love looking at beads/stones and envisioning a piece of jewelry. I taught classes for years and it was fun to see their creativity.
I have worked with teenagers and donate them to shelters for homeless families. I love the smiles on peoples’ faces when they special order a piece of jewelry, or purchase one that is already made. I have been blessed richly through this fantastic hobby.
I started making soap in 2012. I had bought several bars, used them, and discovered how wonderful my skin felt. It improved my dry, split fingers. They were feeling better and healing!
My products contain quality ingredients and do a wonderful job of moisturizing and protecting your skin. There's a variety of scents to choose from or unscented if that is your preference.
Try them and your skin will thank you!
The Soap Creek part of our name is named after a creek just one mile south of our home. We live on a small acreage with our dog Marge. This is where we raised our family and have lived for many years.
Greg and I both claim Jesus as our Savior and try to live our lives to please him. Greg is a retired carpenter and I work as a secretary.
I am a retired hairstylist of 52 years and a salon owner for 50 years and I currently live in Plano Iowa with my husband.
Everything artsy and crafty appeals to me, from oil painting, writing poems, and short stories to jewelry making. My passion is designing unique one of a kind pieces with quality gems from all over the world purchased from reputable sources here in the states.
In 2007 I started collecting and setting gemstone parcels such as rubies, amethyst, emeralds, plus rare stones, unseen in jewelry stores, and years later I discovered gemstone beads and as creative juices began to flow.
Hi, I am Lisa Morgan. I am a 1988 Ottumwa High School graduate and returned home in 2017.
Upon returning to Ottumwa, I went searching for Bulldog and Ottumwa apparel and quickly discovered that I could not find anything cute, fun, or comfortable. It was then that I decided to do something about it and created the Bulldog Boutique!
The booth has been well received in Martha’s and I try to keep it fresh with new creations for Bulldog supporters and school district employees.
